One of the locations is this amazing Spanish ranch home somewhere in Santa Barbara...my favourite coastal towne...
Traditional Home featured the It's Complicated set...the perfect interior of cozy and comfortable with a vintage-Euro feel...
Meryl Streep's character Jane Adler owned a fabulous bakery-cafe- looks as though it's right out of Montecito...parts were filmed in New York and The Chelsea Market...
The food styling and propping was a favourite of mine...
Yum...I'll take some chocolate croissants...
Hotel scenes look like they were filmed at the beautiful Biltmore Hotel in Santa Barbara-Montecito area...I just love this place...
I have already dragged my husband to the theater twice to see It's Complicated...can't wait for it to be on dvd...last night we went to see it with friends...hearing some French music in the film (another passion of mine...listening to french cafe music) we had an urge to sip French wine and enjoy an omelette-though we could not find any croque monsieur at 10 pm!
Enjoy your weekend...xx, Michelle

I've seen the movie and really enjoyed it too. I have worked on some of the estates in Montecito CA. Love it there also.
What a great movie! I really liked your post, and I've linked to it in my own blog: http://hungry-woman.blogspot.com/2010/08/chick-flicks-food-porn.html
