Kitchens...A Blend Of New With Vintage Style!

Currently, I am working on designs for a kitchen that mixes contemporary with vintage...here are some fabulous photos for inspiration... Rustic stone walls and a vintage work table for an island- too bad we can't see the rest of this country kitchen!

Apothecary cabinets with opaque glass- (beach glass color), concrete counters and a fun floral pendant for this contemporary beach house kitchen.

It's Rustic Ranch all the way! Love those "vintage spring" stools!

The built-in cabinetry mimics the vintage feel, open shelves carry out the European country kitchen style!

A vintage bureau complete with pealing paint becomes a buffet off the kitchen for beverages and guests!

Add rustic outdoor charm with this table/bench set, over sized pendant and an amber demijohn bottle!

Old World meets Contemporary- what a beautiful mix and very long farmhouse table- can double as the perfect workspace too!

A well-appointed pantry with a chalkboard message door and fabulous open shelving for ironstone and milk glass collections! I wish my spices looked so organized in apothecary bottles!

A European farmhouse kitchen- love the rustic beams and French-style pavers on the floor!

Clever- add chalkboard paint to inset panel of the pantry door and - Voila! An instant message center for grocery lists and appointments!

Contemporary meets vintage with updated apothecary style cabinets, cleverly labeled too! Love the perfect choice of green!

19th Century apothecary style cabinets become lower cabinets to lend a vintage vibe!

Wow I absolutely love the images you chose to share with us and agree whole heartedly in the idea of mixing new with vintage/old. It just makes a space feel like it has depth and history to it. It's just a fabulous way to go.

The antique chest used as a bar/serving center is perfect. Love all of the older tables too!

Please let me know if I can contribute in any way.

Best,
Tricia - Avolli
