Love...The Beautiful Elements Of This Room! Designed by Bunny Williams

Turquoise Blue walls...Vintage Ikat...Hand-Painted Moorish Stars...A Quirky Red Chair...

A fabulous mix of elements that create a room so visually exciting, yet comfortable at the same time...

The interior styling is key to what makes a room beautiful...

A plentiful bunch of beautiful white ranunculas- always have fresh flowers in a room! Along with white ceramic glazed ginger jars, vintage turquoise vases and a well-stocked bar cart for entertaining!

Sarah Graham's Artichoke On Paper Paintings are lovely!

A favourite furniture design- the Tray Chic Ottoman from Bee Line Home by Bunny Williams

Add in the quirkiness of the Red Egg Chair from Design Within Reach- it's stylish and comfortable!

Cover painted chairs in Quadrille's Veneto fabric- one of my favourites!

Bee Line Home's Regale Arm Chair in the painted white finish

A bit of Eastern influence with the Taj Pillow Collection from Bee Line Home

Exquisite detailing- the Arabesque Throw is just incredible! -from Bee Line Home

The Chicken Feather Lamp, another Bee Line Home design, looks special with a custom lampshade like the one Bunny Williams added to her lamp...create your own shade with details like this...

Beaded Shell Trims...

This room has many of my favourite design elements! Designed for the Kips Bay showhouse by designer Bunny Williams. I was thrilled to see it featured as the cover of the August 2009 issue of House Beautiful! The magazine and Ms. Williams went beyond making the usual design statement. Though, maybe not all the elements fit as cohesive as many people think design elements should fit in a room setting- this is a room created to make one stop and look- and be wowed in one way or another! The entire issue is fabulous- Stephen Drucker and his editorial staff create one of the best shelter publications by far!

Wow now that's like going inside a huge Tiffany box filled with house furnishings. A dream come true. Great colors, fresh and classical, love it!
